Bayside Council's Draft Code of Meeting Practice reflecting updates from the Office of Local Government is now on public exhibition.
The draft Code of Meeting Practice sets out the procedures and rules that guide how all Council and committee meetings are conducted. Its purpose is to support effective public decision-making and to enhance transparency and accountability to the community.
Council’s draft Code of Meeting Practice was previously placed on public exhibition, however, Council made some changes following the release of a revised Model Code of Meeting Practice (Model Code) by the Office of Local Government.
Community members are encouraged to review the updated draft and share their feedback before Friday 5 December 2025.
