We are looking for two community representatives to join the Bayside Floodplain Risk Management Committee. The community representatives will have the opportunity to advise Council on floodplain risk management throughout the Bayside Council area.
Who is on the Committee?
The Committee is an advisory group, comprised of:
The Committee advises Council on the development and implementation of floodplain risk management studies and plans, in accordance with the NSW Floodplain Development Manual.
What is involved?
As a community representative, you will represent the interests of the wider community. This is a voluntary role and involves attending approximately 4 meetings a year. Membership of the panel lasts until the Committee is disbanded.
