Seniors in Bayside

People aged 60 years and over make up 19% of the Bayside population, with citizens aged 70 years and over making up 10.5% of the overall population.

This group includes people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. 52% of our senior residents speak a language other than English at home. 8.2% of residents do not speak English fluently and so are more likely to require language and culturally specific services as they age.
