Construction Certificates

Once you have received development consent for your building work, you’ll need to obtain a Construction Certificate.  

For some simple proposals, it’s possible to lodge the application for a Construction Certificate at the same time as your development application.  

Constuction certificates confirms that:

• Construction plans and development specifications are consistent with the development consent
• Construction plans and development specifications comply with the Building Code of Australia, as well as Council requirements.
• Conditions of development consent have been met. 

All Construction Certificates must be submitted through the NSW Planning Portal.
