Any member of the public can make a submission on an application
How to make a submission
You can share your feedback with Bayside Council by using our ‘Make an online submission’ link via our DA Tracker or by email, or post mail as a written submission to Bayside Council.

What to include in your submission
Your submission must include:
- application number
- address of the proposed development
- if you object, your reasons for objecting.
Submissions must relate to the property and the proposal. No other factors will be considered.
Please note that development applications and submissions are displayed publicly. Any information you provide, including your name and address, may be published.
Declaring political donations
If making a submission, you must also make a disclosure statement if you have:
- made a political donation to a Councillor or
- provided a gift to a Councillor or Council employee.
Anonymous submissions
You may choose not to disclose your personal information.
If you do choose to make an anonymous submission, this may limit our ability to consider your submission.
