Young People

Our Young People team are qualified youth workers who purposefully engage our youth, and offer them support around Bayside. We also organise programs, fun activities,  and skill-development workshops that target the interests and needs of our youth.

The Youth Advisory Group (YAG) represents the young people of Bayside aged between 12 to 18, to ensure youth voices are heard when local decisions are made.

15 YAG representatives were selected based on their submissions to join the group, and now have the opportunity to actively participate in decisions that impact youth living in Bayside, and empower them to contribute to meaningful outcomes within their community.

YAG will have an initial meeting to agree on priorities and frequency of meetings. 

Youth Services Term Program

Our Youth Services Term Program provides a safe space where young people who are 12 years+ , can enjoy a range of activities to promote positive engagement, social wellbeing outcomes and connecting with local support services.

Our centre-based term programs are based at Arncliffe Youth Centre 

• Wednesdays and Fridays, 3 - 6:30pm

Outreach

We visit locations around Bayside, connecting young people to youth support and services. Follow our Instagram page to say updated on Outreach locations.

Free school holiday programs are run to entertain and educate our youth aged 12 and above for the two weeks between school terms.
