Bayside Council is inviting residents to plant a native tree at their home to commemorate the birth, adoption or guardianship of a child.
Council will facilitate the planting by providing a commemorative letter with a list of suitable species for front or backyard planting, a temporary tree tag and a $20 Bayside Garden Centre voucher to purchase the native tree.
Residents are eligible to register if their child has been born within the last 12 months.
How the program works
Residents can register through the Trees for Bub form. Upon receipt of the submission, our Environment and Resilience team will mail the $20 voucher for Bayside Garden Centre, the commemorative letter, and a temporary tree tag.
Head to Bayside Garden Centre to see their range of trees and opening hours.
