Love Our Bay
Bayside Council is asking residents and visitors to show love towards our bay, and display respectful behaviour over summer.
How to Love Our Bay
- Be mindful of others
- Respect the marine life, and flora and fauna that live along the foreshore.
- Bring reusable items and put your rubbish in the bin or take it with you.
- Swim within your ability and keep a watchful eye on young children and inexperienced swimmers. Beaches along Botany Bay are not patrolled so follow water safety procedures when swimming.
- Don't risk a fine: park in accordance with signage. Do not park across driveways or on grass verges. Rangers conduct regular patrols.
- Use a coal-fired BBQs in one of the four designated areas. Dispose of hot coals correctly in hot coals bins.
