You need to complete the Filming and photography application if you plan on closing a road, footpath, or Council car park to conduct filming or photography.
See the Local Government Filming Protocol for more information on filming and photography in the Bayside Local Government Area.
The filming and photography application must be submitted separately from the Road, footpath and road related closure application.
You may apply to close sections of footpath or road for filming purposes.
You may apply to barricade on-street car spaces for:
1. Essential trucks, vans, or trailers (Essential Vehicles); and/or
2. A loading/unloading space.
Essential Vehicles are those which must be within proximity to the production set at all times, such as makeup and costumes. Equipment trucks which can deliver to set and be parked away from the set will not be considered essential and barricading spaces for these vehicles will not be considered.
Cast and crew parking reservations may only be considered within a council carpark where warranted.
