Corporate planning and reporting is the process of consolidating strategies, plans, resources and reports to support the services and outcomes of Council to deliver the priorities, vision, and aspirations for Bayside’s future as outlined in the Community Strategic Plan.

Integrated Planning & Reporting (IP&R) is the framework developed by the NSW State Government to guide Councils in the planning, reporting and delivery of its community’s priorities.
IP&R enables Council to bring all plans and strategies together to have a clear vision and an agreed roadmap.
It requires Council to take a long-term approach to planning and decision making and emphasises the responsibility to deliver and report back to the community on progress.
IP&R is where Council can identify, plan, fund & report on services and outcomes for the community.
Identify
The identify component of IP&R allows Council to extensively engage with the community to identify their wants - not only from Council but all government agencies.
Plan
The plan component of IP&R allows Council to rigorously plan how to deliver the wants of the community, enabling efficiencies and sound allocation of resources.
Fund
The fund component of IP&R allows Council to plan the funding of activities on a long-term basis to enable forward planning and on an annual basis to directly support planned services and projects.
Report
The report component of IP&R enables Council to monitor and communicate its performance on a term and annual basis through key documents that track service delivery, financial outcomes, and strategic progress.
