WHS Contractor Management
What is it?
We need to ensure legal compliance with Work Health & Safety (WH&S) regulations when engaging and utilising contractors to undertake services for Council. The WH&S standards expected from contractors vary based on the type of work and associated risks.
What do you need to do?
Council has engaged the management services of Conserve (BNG Contractor Services Pty Ltd) to provide contractor management services. If you become a provider of works/services to Bayside, our expectation is that you undergo the registration process with BNG Conserve to become a 'Compliant' contractor/supplier for Council.
There is an annual licensing fee of $280.00 + GST (payable by you to BNG Contracting Service Pty Ltd) for this service. To register with Conserve, follow the link via their website. Conversely, if you are already registered with BNG Conserve, all you need to do is advise them accordingly.
