Mayoral community awards and milestone messages

Mayoral community award

Bayside residents can nominate someone in the local community who deserves recognition for their outstanding achievements in making our area a better place, and if successful will receive a certificate and recognition from the Mayor.

Eligibility

Nominees must be a resident, student, employee, business owner, a sports person who has excelled in their chosen sport, or official volunteer living in the Bayside Council local government area.

How to nominate

Send your nomination to Mayor@bayside.nsw.gov.au with the nominee's full name and contact details, and supporting documentation proving they are a Bayside resident, student, employee, business owner, sports person or official volunteer.

You can provide a statutory declaration if supporting documentation isn’t available. Statutory declaration forms are available at any post office.

Ensure your nomination details how the nominee has made Bayside better, and how they have gone above and beyond in their field.

The Mayor also sends messages of congratulations to couples celebrating 50 years of marriage and every five years after.
