Introduction:

I have been proud to serve as a Councillor for 20 years, with a term as Deputy Mayor of Bayside Council. I am a strong community advocate and local business owner.

Biography:

I am a family man with four children and completed my public education locally.

I have actively assisted local sporting and community clubs and recognise the importance of enhancing sporting facilities across Bayside.

I am a strong advocate for revitalising our shopping centres for local businesses and the community, delivering more parking spaces in shopping centre, increasing street tree and floral plantings, reducing illegal dumping and littering, reducing graffiti and supporting local businesses.

Introduction:

I am a professional and solution-focused community advocate with extensive experience in the government and non-profit sectors. I became a Councillor to bring people’s voices to the forefront, working to improve local services, infrastructure, and public spaces. My commitment to public service comes from a desire to create a more inclusive, vibrant, and connected community where everyone can thrive.

Biography:

I feel fortunate to live in Bayside on the beautiful land of the Gadigal and Bidjigal people of the Eora Nation.

I live in Rockdale with my young family and am passionate about building a Bayside where everyone can thrive, feel safe, and enjoy arts, culture, and nature. We love the multicultural community, proximity to the city, and the beauty of the harbour and the bay. As a mum, my weekends are spent driving the kids to soccer and basketball, and I make time to hike and tend to my native garden.

My professional experience spans two continents. I am a trained nurse with intensive care experience in Germany, and I've also worked at a university and in the Australian government. Now, as the CEO of a small not-for-profit, my focus is on improving lives and strengthening our community.

I want to collaborate with the Bayside community to create a better future, with enhanced walkability, community infrastructure, affordable housing, upgraded parks, and diverse public art.

Introduction:

I am honoured to be elected, not only as your Councillor but also as the youngest Councillor elected in Bayside Council history to date. I am driven by a deep commitment to our community and actively represent the many voices that make up our community.

My role is to advocate for your needs and ensure that our local services thrive, while encouraging meaningful dialogue consultation. I believe in fostering a safe, vibrant environment where everyone can access quality facilities and opportunities.

I am dedicated to enhancing our community through focused investment in our parks, greenspaces, and council facilities. My commitment to service includes ensuring our local streets are safe and actively working to reduce traffic congestion
Protecting local jobs and essential services is a key priority. I’m committed to providing quality childcare, and I will fight to keep jobs locally.

Including residents in consultation and decision making is crucial, and we will continue to hear their concerns and celebrate their successes. Embracing collaboration, we can build a thriving community for all

Biography:

As a proud lifelong member of our community, I have dedicated my life to serving and uplifting the place I call home.

Growing up in a close-knit family that prioritized strong values and community service, I’ve learned the importance of giving back, through my father, who has served our community for 40 years and been named an Emeritus Mayor.

Currently, I am furthering my education at University, where I am committed to understanding the complexities of public service and local governance.

I have both coached and played for local competitive teams, fostering teamwork, discipline, and resilience. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of collaboration.

Volunteering for local events has allowed me to connect with residents and understand their needs first-hand. Whether it's organising a community clean-up or participating in cultural celebrations, I am always eager to lend a hand.

I am committed to listening to your concerns, representing your interests, and working collaboratively to build a vibrant, inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Together, let’s make our ward the best place to live, work, and play.
