Introduction:
I’ve been a Councillor for Bayside Council since 2017 and am deeply passionate about serving, supporting, and enhancing the community I proudly call home. I take great pride in contributing to the community I love, particularly through supporting community organisations, sporting associations, and residents groups.
As Mayor, I look forward to working collaboratively with both the Councillors and the community across Bayside to keep enhancing our area, strengthening connections, and improving the quality of life for all.
Biography:
During my time on Council, I have fought to improve our open spaces to serve the needs of our growing community, and I will continue to work to deliver and upgrade great facilities and services for local families including parks, playgrounds, childcare centres, and sporting facilities.
I have also been passionate about fighting car and bike hooning, and I will continue to work with State and Local representatives and the St George Police Local Area Command to push back against anti-social behaviour in our community.
I live in Kyeemagh with my wife Ella, and I hold qualifications in law, economics, a Master of Business Administration and I am a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Introduction:
Since being elected to Council in 2021, I have been driven to create a safer, greener and more creative Bayside. I am deeply connected to the local community through volunteer roles and as the founder of the Peaceful Bayside Action Group. I also have 25 years of experience advocating to the state and federal issues on economic, social and environmental issues.
Biography:
I founded the Peaceful Bayside Action Group in 2020 to push for safer streets in Bayside. Before that, I was an active member of Kyeemagh Public School P&C, and the Bay Community Garden.
I was elected as an independent councillor for Ward 5 in 2021, to push for safer streets, better managed green spaces and more inclusive, family-friendly neighbourhoods. I was re-elected in 2024 as Peaceful Bayside candidate and was elected as Deputy Mayor.
On council, I strive to be transparent and accessible to my community, and to make it easier for residents to understand and engage with the council.
I am also a CEO for a national not-for-profit that advocates for renewable energy, and an award-winning director, whose body of work specialises in social change storytelling.
