Bayside Council is reviewing its Clothing Bin Policy.

April’s Council Meeting agreed to investigate issues that include best clothing bin practices, choosing suitable bin locations, ensuring that commercial operators comply with ethical standards and the Modern Slavery Act, and whether registered charities could be offered a reduced fee for their clothing bins.

Council will also explore using its website to publish approved clothing bin sites on Council-owned or -controlled land.
