Bayside Photography Exhibition

The winning photographs from the recent Bayside Photography Competition are now on display at Mascot Library and along the boardwalk at Brighton Le Sands.

The exhibition, showcasing the winners and one finalists from each category, highlights the local beauty of the Bayside that is becoming a vibrant cultural and creative hub in Southern Sydney.

Bayside Council’s annual photography competition encourages a wide range of photographers to capture the uniqueness of the area.

The 2024 Bayside Photographic Competition included a total prize pool of $3,800 and seven categories: Open, Environmental, Waterways, Transport, Active, Neighbourhood, and Junior.

The winning photos will also be installed in the International Arrivals Terminal at Sydney Airport where they will be seen by thousands of visitors arriving in Sydney every day.

Bayside Mayor Edward McDougall said:

“I hope you all have the opportunity to see this wonderful exhibition that showcases talented local photographers who have captured the unique beauty of the place we call home,” Mayor Edward McDougall said.
