Bayside Council’s Seniors Christmas celebration at the Ramsgate RSL on Monday 2 December was a great success.
Seniors were treated to a wonderful Christmas celebration with old and new friends while enjoying live entertainment and a chance to dance to some toe tapping music.
This event is one of the highlights of Bayside’s event calendar and provides an opportunity to thank senior residents for their contribution to our community.
Bayside Council is continually developing community-based programs to maximize the health and happiness of senior residents and to ensure they are socially connected and active in the community.
Senior citizen community centres located throughout Bayside also offer various community programs for those wanting to socialise and meet people with similar interests.
Bayside Mayor Edward McDougall said:
