Bayside is hosting a free 2.5 hour Bicycle Maintenance & Repair Workshop.

You'll learn how to:

• conduct a bicycle safety check
• Build your toolkit to care for your bike
• Keep your bike clean and lubricated
• Take your wheels and tyres on and off
• Fix a flat tyre - patch and change an inner tube
• Check brake wear and function

If time allows:

• Introduction to cable systems - cable maintenance, issues and barrel adjusters
• brake adjustment - pad alignment
• tuning gears - limit adjustments, indexing.

This event is for Bayside residents aged 14+, however children aged 16 years and under need to be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
